I am currently working with a leading boutique legal practice in Chicago, who are actively looking to recruit a senior attorney to join their growing trusts & estates group.
Responsibilities
- You will work closely with Partners across the firm's practice group on a broad range of sophisticated transactions.
- You will develop business to grow your own book.
- You will concentrate your practice on trust and estate planning and administration.
- You will represent owners of closely-held businesses, family offices, principals of private equity and venture capital funds, individuals and families of significant wealth.
- You will also work with establishing and administering private foundations and other charitable organizations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong academics and achieved JD from a leading law school.
- Licensed to practice in Illinois.
- 7+ years of trusts & estates experience - ideally gained in a larger law firm setting.
- Strong writing and case management skills.
